"Big" is relative, a baby whale isn't big compared to other whales. Dead grass isn't green.

By the way, if it were me, I'd ask one tribe if the sky was blue, then ask the other which was the safe path.

Since the sky is obviously blue, you'd know right off the bat which tribe was truthful.

That's two questions, the original riddle said you get one question to each tribe. I read it as the same question. But as I posted you don't need two questions.

Ask one tribe which way the other tribe would say is safe. Either way the answer will be a lie, and the other path is the safe one.

See the logic question would work, but it doesnt tell you which path is the safe one. The truth tribe doesnt neccessarily have the safe path.

Got the anser today. ask each tribe "if you were the other tribe, which path would you tell me to take"? one tribe (the lying tribe) would answer, "if i were the other tribe, i wouldd tell you to take my path", the other tribe (the truthful tribe) would answer "if i were the other tribe, i would tell you to take their path" then you would do the opposite to find the correct path.
