I was born and raised in California, and i do love it here....but we are being *overrun* by Mexicans. Its an invasion on a grand scale. The federal government wont do anything about it...other than Bush wanting "guest worker permits", which when translated into spanish means "amnesty" and "hey come on over!". And local goverment isnt any help either...democrat and republican. In fact one of the popular talk radio shows (a FOX affiliate) is trying to get a Republican congressman voted out of office to show the Republican party that we want the immigration problem addressed, and we arent afraid to sacrifice someone to do it

We are supposed to be fighting a war against terrorists who want to attack us on our own soil and we cant even secure our own borders.

They are making a mockery of the local government. This is rediculous. They are talking about illegal immigrants as if it was ok. People who are driving legally, are under scrutiny, while illegal mexicans are being warned about where the stops are going to be.

I'm generally pissed at the notion of how many people drive unlicencened and un-insured. Add illegal immigrant to the list and I have NO sympathy at all.

F-ing rediculous. I don't even know where to start. If they're illegal, they should be deported. Period. I don't care if they have families and children. If you came here illegally, you and your family get shipped back to Mexico. If you're driving without a licence or insurance, your car should be impounded, and you arrested. End of story. I don't care if your groceries are in the car. You broke the law. End of discussion.

I as a citizen would get in more trouble driving without a license than an illigle immigrant, even here in NY. How does that make any sense.

I couldn't agree with you more Pyro. I know in WA if your'e caught driving without a license you can be arrested on the spot and your car impounded. Not to mention a nice fat ticket. I love how people can come to this country illegally and get more benifits than our actual citizens.
