    refrigeration help

I need some help with refridgeartion technology. I have a fridge that has 24 inches of clearance from the floor to the freezer. The freezer takes up another 3 inches total. Is there anyway that I can cut the freezer out without ruining the fridge?

Note: This is not a normal fridge but one of the larger dorm size fridges...

DO NOT attempt to cut out the freezer. see those ridges on the part that surrounds the freezer? that's where the coolant runs through. the refridgerator only actually works around that plate. that's what makes the freezer colder than the fridge. it's enclosed by the cooling element. the cold just seeps down to the refridgerator area. they don't have seperate cooling systems.

You know, they make fridges specially designed for kegs, why not just get one of those?
