Need some ideas for an English project

In my English Honors class our teacher has this thing at the beginning of November called coffeehouse (we're supposed to have our selection chosen in about a week though) where we need to present a poem, tell something about the author and do an interpretation. This all has to be done from memory, no notecards. I absolutely suck at poetry and I have no idea of what would be good to pick and wouldn't be too complicated.

Our selection can be a poem or a monoloque from a movie/book as well. Does anyone have suggestions for something cool that wouldn't be too hard to remember?

I memorized "To His Coy Mistress" in about a week, and its not a real short poem.

    But you want a reccomendation?

Look up Alone, by Ambrose Bierce. Its only four lines, but has a lot of meaning behind it, and Bierce was an extremely interesting man.

Or you could find something else he wrote.

Hes one of my favorite poets so I just thought I'd bring it up.

I looked up that poem, seems a but abstract, I had no clue what it meant. Like I said, I suck at interpteting poetry.

Look at some of Robert Frost's, you're bound to find something easy that you understand, because he wrote a bajillion poems.
