    I agree 110%

The 70's SNL crew was the best.

EDIT: Though, I do have to say, Norm McDonlad was great. Too bad he had such an additude problem.

well, most people including present and former SNL castmates, credit Eddie Murphy with basically single handedly saving the show in the 80's. He was basically the only reason people watched it and the only reason it was'nt cancelled at the time. Its easy to forget how good he was on it when he has made so many horrible movies since then. Holy Man and Pluto Nash anyone?...so i give props to him.

However, I think Will Ferrel is the best thats ever been on there, lots of castmates have been funny, but I think he has been the most flexible one they've ever had. Though Phil Hartman was also great in that regard.

I love Chris Farley, but he was basically the same character in every skit, the befuddled guy who eventually exploded and started yelling everything.

My favorite character on SNL would have to be Mango. My favorite cast member would have to be Jimmy Fallon.

Btw, did anybody see the Punk'd spoof with Justin Timberlake?

                        Girl: "I'm pregnant." (to boyfriend)

Justin Timberlake as Ashton Kutcher: "Haha you just got punk'd! We switched out your birth control pills! I'm Ashton Kutcher and I'm awsome!"

^^The dialogue in the above skit is a summary. I'm too stupid to remember the entire thing.
