Do you guys like it or no? Personally, I love it. The GT has a confirmed 300hp/315tq on a DOHC V8 engine, but I'm not sure about the V6. A cobra, as well as convertible models, will be offered in 2006. So, what do you all think? Attached is a photoshopped image of what the convertible will probably look like. Also, here is Ford's homepage for the 2005 Mustang: Ford Homepage for the 2005 Mustang and Mustang GT

I think it would look much better with just the two outer lights. The inner ones make it look cluttered, and almost like an off-road truck look. Very nice, I love it.Hey, look at that! It's Santa!

The Base (V6) model doesn't have those lights, so there ya go
. (It also has a different front bumper, maybe a different back bumper, and no spoiler, as well has different rims and, of course, a different engine).

Well Gm came out with the GTO in 2004 ,so ford had to step up and give the once love on the pony car back to its roots .The 05 mustang got most of its looks from the 67 fastback, It got the two innner lights looks from the 67 shelby cobra gt500. It has some nice body lines and i love the side profile on the 05 but the back of itComment

if I got a new GTO the first thing I'd do is find a Holden dealership in Austrailia that'd sell me the proper replacement badging...
the new Mustang is Hot. I really like what they've done with it... American Muscle is back on track, now if only I could afford a Magnum RT...

There is only 1 American sports car that is still around, never went away, ain't planning on going away, and has always remained true to being a sports car, and that's the Corvette. If anyone wants to argue the whole Mustang point, I'll but a 4 cylinder Fiero up against one of those god awful 5.0 econo-craps made back in the 80's.Die Screaming

You're right about the Vette, but its also a sports car that's well out of reach of most people who want one... even a used one will go 30k plus for a decent one... and insurance is through the roof unless you've got a clean record, which you won't have for long if you're driving the Vette the way its supposed to be driven...
I love vettes and Vortech, but Mopar has better bang for the bucks... I've never been a huge fan of the stang, but the new ones are moving in the right direction.Warp Feed Evangelist
