New Motorola V710 = Best phone EVER!!!

Well yesterday my LG VX6000 died on me (kinda happy it did because it really wasnt all that I had hoped it would be) so I made a trip to the Verizon store to pick up the new Moto V710 which I've had my eye on since they came out a few weeks ago.

I purchased the phone and the bluetooth headset, cost $420 before the $70 rebate and had to extend my contract for another 2 years. As soon as I turned the phone on I was uber impressed, the screen inside is gigantic compared to most cell phone screens and is super-crisp with vibrant colors. It also has a color LCD on the outside of the phone that displays the vital stats (very awesome ).

Some of the best features:
-1.2mp high-res camera w/ flash
-Records video!
-Plays MP3's
-Has a TransFlash slot (i bought a 128mb card for it too)
-Bluetooth Enabled (works with some awesome peripherals like the headset i picked up)
-Voice enabled (You dont even have to pre-record names! It really knows what youre saying, also has voice enabled digit dialing which is the uber pimpness!)
-Super light, i was amazed at how light it was when I first picked it up.
-Built in 18mm office quality speaker phone (crisp loud playback of calls and mp3's!)
-And all the other standard goodies like pic messaging, web browsing, etc.

If you've got the money, and you're on Verizon, go get the new V710 RIGHT NOW!!! You won't be dissapointed, it's by far the most pimpin' phone ever made by Motorola.

What is the battery life on that?
I'm looking into a new phone now, I'm going for the one with the best battery life.
That sliding one looks the best so far. And it's a decent phone too, a freind has one.

I can't give you an honest answer yet because this is only my second day with with the phone.

Once I get a few days of use out of it I'll report back with some battery stats.

I also have this phone. VERY nice.

As for battery life, I can talk for almost 2.5 hours before it'll start beeping at me. I texted all day with vibrate on (was in training all day) and it didn't even blink an eye.

I agree, the speaker phone option is way cool, the pics are ok and the color screen is phenomenal.

Yeah we got 2 Nokia phones similar to the older one posted above... They came free with the shared minutes plan. They suck, but they get the job done.

I have a sliding one. Its pretty cool. The speaker phone on it is phenominal (sp?) except when your on low batter, it kinda chops (like counterstrike ) mine can stay on just sitting there for 3 days. Ring tones sound so cool on this phone... because its polyphonic
