Which College?

I trying to decide which college to attend since it is that time (Jr. year). I went to a website called the princetonreview.com, and they had a feature called "Counselor-O-Matic". I tried it; it came up with results about which colleges that compare well with me.

...but i was wondering, What schools have paintball teams/leagues?

Not just to be on, but to actually gain some ideas of what career opportunites are in it. All i do for fun is paintball or shooting related stuff. Sure I am good in normal sports like basketball and football, (I use to play football with a player on our city champion football team and beat him all the time, so i have the skills), but that are not as fun.

I am really looking towards engineering/engineering technology. Nothing else I am interested in that maybe becoming a Chicago Fire Fighter like my father. After, all I would like to work one day then get two off; after doing that cycle four times I get five days off; than ater a year of those two cycles I get 2-2 weeks off. (Man what an easy job )

Yes, I have a good GPA (apx. 3.76). It dropped since I stopped taking Honor classes for Sophmore year and I have not seen my current GPA so far. I should see it this week or in another five weeks.

Well if u are looking for an engerining school wiht a paintball team. You could look at clemson, go there and u can hang wiht phil., or u could look at Ga Tech casue i know they have a paintball team. Im sure there are other technical schools wiht pball teams, but those are the only two i could think of off the top of my head.

We have a paintball team at RPI (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute). It's located in Troy NY, and it's a good engineering school.

My dad is an associate Vice Chancellor at UIC(sure you know where that is)and used to work at DePaul and he'll tell you, that UIC at a cheaper tuition is a much better college then DePaul. You should definitely considering UIC, good tuition rates, excellent dorms(if you stay in them) and a great school that doesn't get the credit it deserves. What major are you thinking about?

Drexels team was very good although I am unaware of its current state. . Penn State also has a very good team.

purdue has good program for engineering. and they also have a very good paintball team. And its not that for away if you dont want to go to far from home

Thanks for all the info so far...I'll look into these colleges...once i find out my ACT/SAT scores/actually take them this year...

About once (maybe twice) a year US News and World Report puts out a guide and ranking for colleges across the United States.

It ranks them by various criteria including majors, etc.

It might be something you want to pick up off the news stand when that issue/edition comes out.

That's a good question. Not that it'd be a major criteria when college-searching, but I think it'd be cool to see a compilation of all colleges with paintball teams. Anybody know if there's a good list anywhere?
