    Need Help: Vacation Planning

Well, I'm sure Florida is still cleaning up from its hurricane onslaught, but I'm hoping by Spring Break it'll be as beautiful as it's ever been. So I'm asking any Florida people if they have any vacation suggestions, preferably around Key West/Ft. Lauderdale area. We're not on a very big budget, so the cheaper the better.

Also looking into Myrtle Beach/Hilton Head area in S.C. or Virginia Beach. I'm not really looking for something I can find in Travelocity or some vacation guide, I'm wanting things like renting a moped and cruising Key West, trying to find some little hole-in-the-wall resteraunt only the locals know about

Hotel suggestions would also be greatly appreciated, as are hot spots and all that good stuff. Thanks!!!

This may not be too useful to you or it may be... I apologize if it isn't. I was reading in the newspaper that if you book your reservations right now alot of great resorts are offering very cheap prices. Such as $100 a night rooms with the 4 or 5th night free. Thats in the same area your looking into. Pompano Beach is very nice right next door to FT Lauderdale. They have a nice little pier where you can go out and fish on it and what not. Kinda cool.

If you want a real relaxing vacation. Use Expedia.com to book your flight into Miami. Rent a convertible and drive through the Keys. THey are awesome!
