AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
i would just take it to a computer place, and since i guess you have another working computer (or you just have no idea what your talking about) i think you could wait, and how the heck did you uninstall the os?

Can you give more info on what happened to your comp? I have a whole article on how to recover from a BSOD by going back to a restore point, but left it at my work. I'll post it tomorrow. But in the mean time, Boot with your XP CD. It will ask you to install or go to the recovery console. Select install and should see a problem with your XP install and will ask you to repair it. Make sure that it ask you to repair it. If it doesn't, it will reinstall XP and you will lose all your settings and possibly your data. Here is a link of what I am talking about.
Edit - Found the llink! The content is kinda goofy, but helped me restore a company pc without losing data.
