AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I'd rather just have a Derringer. I mean, other than serious gun enthusiasts, who's going to sit around and muzzle load some small thing like that? I think IF this guy gets this item up off the ground sales wise, the fact it doesn't use a shell cased bullet will hurt it tremendously. People want convinience, and muzzle loading gunpowder, paper and BB's is not convinience. That, and the electrical triggers aren't a great idea in my opnion. Too much room for failure or accidents...remember the KISS method to everything. Keep It Simple Stupid.
I was out pheasent hunting this weekend and got tagged w/ a pellet or 2 right between the eyes on my forhead at about 30 yards. At first it felt about like a paintball hit, until I noticed the blood. I don't think the pellet(s) are still in there, but it left a nice little wound. The 2 guys who fired both felt horrible.
If it wasn't a muzzle loader then it would be a shotgun with a 1/2in barrel and hence illigle.
Oh yeah, I realize. I just meant that even if it was legal, I don't think too many consumers (past the gun enthusiasts anyway) would buy a "gun" you had to muzzle load. Shells are easy to load and carry, whereas this type of thing wouldn't be.

Am i the only one who scoffs every time the media labels something "credit card size"?
To me, calling something the size of another thing implies sameness in all 3 dimensions. When something might be as wide and tall as a credit card, but .25" thick, that is NOT the size of a credit card. Thats the size of 6 or 7 credit cards stacked up.
