I've seen a lot of really stupid posts on AO, and this one easily makes the top 3.

Just goes to show, no matter who you are, what you did, what you do, you are not invincible.
Reeves will be remember, and im guessing he died happy, seeing that we were entertained by his acting.
RIP Superman, may you always be remember by all, and may we see you when our time comes.

Sorry, I gotta sound "old" for a second (and I'm not, I'm 28!)...
You teenagers, which I'm assuming are the only ones here immature enough to make some of the negative comments in this thread, need to grow up. You're not funny, and saying things like that about someone who died (especially when he was an inspiration to the handicapped) isn't either.
That having been said, I'm a huge Superman fan and I thought Christopher Reeve portrayed him very well in the films he made. His best work was done outside of film however. He could have shrank away from the spotlight, even let his disability ruin his life, yet he didn't. He chose to use the fame he had gotten from his roles to encourage people who didn't feel they had any hope. He showed people that just because he was paralyzed he wasn't ready to quit on life. For that, I applaud him. He showed more courage in a situation like that than most people will ever know.
RIP, Mr. Reeve.Comment
