Need help from Canadian AO members ....

I am in desperate search around the States for poutine sauce and so far I have not found any. Would any of our Canadian members be willing to find out the cost of shipping a couple cans of sauce back to the US? Let me know the cost and I will send you the money via paypal ...

    Thanks,

Poutine sauce? You're kidding, right? It's beef gravy... nothing special. Fries, gravy, mozarella cheese. Yes, it sounds disgusting. Yes, it LOOKS disgusting. Yes, it tastes good!

Yeah dude its just brown gravy.

And its not mozarella, its cheese curd. Its pretty similar though.

We eat the same thing here in NJ, but we call it disco fries.

Just use regular brown gravy Theres no magical poutine sauce.

Ah yes, that's right. It's supposed to be real, fresh cheese curd... but most places use coarse grated mozzarella as it's cheaper. To find it made properly is a score, cause it's even better!

My arteries are clogging just thinking about it.

Well the stuff I had didnt taste like plain brown gravy to me ... and I make my own brown gravy every time I cook a roast or do turkey for thanksgiving .... guess it was just a special mix from the resturant at the time. I know its pretty much unique to each place.

I'll try it with just plain brown gravy and work from there.

See, that's the thing. I don't know 2 people that make gravy the same way. It may have been a special homemade recipe or it might have been some instant crap. No 2 poutines will taste the same because of it. But, trust me, it's just brown gravy.
