Why, mods, why?
I have been gone from AO since about the end of July, or the beginning of August only to return to find some bone head sig replacement. My sig has been up for about a year or a year and a half and then gets DELETED. I have no way of getting it back without remaking it and I have no time due to the current season.
I do agree however, that there shoud be limits on sigs, but I dont see why they shoud be DELETED right away. A warning should be given via PM or e-mail to the person who has the sig. I also don't see why they should be replaced with a dumb, pointless, demeaning signature that was not desired by me.
In my eyes, AO is a great place and I can come here to talk to friendly people who have useful information, and maybe even to help some people out. When I saw this "thing" on my post, I lost some respect for AO. By taking one person's art that was made by them (most of the time) from scratch to express their love for the game, and throwing it in the trash really upset me. When I finally get some free time to get back on my AO, I find it has been defaced without anyone notifying me. Can someone, prefferably the mod who trashed my sig, answer some of my questions please?
Once again, I have a sick taste in my mouth by how this could happen without notice to me here on AO. This is without a doubt, far below the high standards given to AO.
EDIT: After checking the sig file on my computer, it is 288x101pixels and 6k which is under the 20k allowed limit and the 350x175. Why was it deleted?
