    Team America: World Police

Anyone else looking forward to this movie? I've watched some clips and it looks pretty funny. Plus coming from the minds of Trey Parker & Matt Stone, it must be funny. I plan on going on Friday since I couldn't go to the "sneak peak" last saturday.
    Sorry, I'm old

HELL YES!!!!!! I've been excited about this for quite a long time. You can view the trailer, and 3 "webisodes," at www.movies.com

For example, did you know they got the director of The Matrix for this movie? For PUPPETS!!! Plus the fact that it was originally rated NC-17, and that Hollywood in general is angry at them for making this... MUST SEE!!!! *drools*

I was lucky enough to be able to catch teh sneak preview of it last sat and it is amazing. If u are easily offended no matter what party you are or ethnicity(majoritively middleeastern) don go see this movie. But it was freaking great, and it wouldnt of been anywhere near as funny if it wasnt for the fact they made it with puppets.

they had to cut out a very sexual scene between two puppets to get the "R" rating. can't wait for the "directors cut" dvd...not that i want to see puppets getting it on...er, yeah i do.

Saw it last Saturday in a sneek preview they had in Saint Louis ... funny as hell, they pick on both the left and the right which made it even better in my book.

After watching the cut down scene, I really have to wonder just how far they went in the un-cut versions ... they went pretty wild in the R version as it was. You would think the MPAA would have enough sense to realize that most people would understand they are dolls and nothing more ....

i saw a sneak preview. good stuff. listen very carefully to the soundtrack. the lyrics are hilarious. most of the movie is shot as if it's a dramatic action movie... but they're puppets. so a scene that would normally be cheesy and over the top becomes funny. it's also a lot funnier if you've seen the south park episodes where they go to the middle east. many scenes are similar and they talk in the same fake arabic consisting of about five words which is also funny.

lopxtc - i don't think it's so much a matter of realizing it's fake as how explicit it was. they know that kids are going to get into this movie. their parents may not even think there's anything wrong because it's puppets. i saw a bunch of kids that looked like they were 12 there with a parent. but i know i wouldn't want any kids to see this movie.

Any parents taht take a little kid to that movie should be shot, the language etc in the movie isnt excatly the most approiate choice of words for a little kid to be seeing.

But i cant wait till the shound track comes out on CD, ahahahahahaha I miss u a little more then pearl harbor missed the point.

I can't wait. The Kim Jong Il puppet looks hysterical. I wonder if they find WMDs?

I'll definately see it. If it's anywhere nearly as funny as Orgasmo, it will be great.

Man, I can't wait to see this movie. Did anyone catch the behind the scenes footage that they aired on MTV? It also shows a pretty awsome scene, which if the rest of the movie is only half as funhy as this scene then it'll definately be worth it.

"Hey, do that scene where everybody gets aids" and then the puking scene after he leaves the bar is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time

                              .

I told a co-worker last week and I'll say it again.

Just you wait there is going to be an outrage of parents that took the kiddies to see this movie.
