Maybe Lucas will kill em off, then kill off Jar Jar. We can only hope. Oh! Maybe he's got a master plant to have a stunt "accident" and actually kill em off for real! Then we would all be praising Lucas.
As for LOTR. mmmm what a good movie. What a good 1st part of 3. I can only hope that they also do There and Back Again. It would be very nice to have a live action Hobbit done with the same cast & crew for 12 near perfect hours of Tolkien movie love.Comment

True, but all the extras that have figures already (the Cantina scene comes to mind) had a little bit more screen time then just being shot. I at least hope they didn't let them have lightsabers.Comment

actually the new line of figures has had quite a few figures that where never made before. Couple of examples BoShek, Duros, Amanaman, Cantina Aliens Three pack, Muftak and Kabe, Ketwol, Wuher (bartender) and maybe a few others I've forgotten. One of the main reasons I collect star wars toys is that they will on occasion make the obscure extras that make it such a great set of movies.You are the Wormtongue of AO.~bofh

Lucas is still a god...
NO matter WHAT he did - if everyone grew 5 years younger and thier clothes were woven into gold, the new films would still let people down. In a sense, he should have never tried because he couldnt replicate what he did with the first three movies. There is no way to live up to god like expectations.
I acutally still love the phantom menace. Its not the best - but there are some wonderful and powerful parts! Its still pure fantasy that you can become entrapt in!
As for nsync - who the heck cares!? As long as they dont do duet with the max rebo ban - who cares? They have like 3 secs of screen time and are blown up. He threw them in at the request of his daughter. nsync, nschmink - they are all bantha fodder in the end.
LOTR is another cult classic. And again no matter HOW you make that movie - you will disappoint some because it cant compete with the images you have built in your head. And yes Lucas pulled a bit from LOTR, as well as Artherian myths, samauris, and a host of other classic stories to pull it to gether for the greatest modern mythos.

Sadly enough, one of the Timothy Dalton 007 Movies also took place in Afghanistan.
Of course, it was all good when it was just them defending their land from the USSR.
