Any One know any thing about RANDALL KNIVES?

I'm THINK this is a Randall ALL-PURPOSE FIGHTING KNIFE model 1-7 as shown in this link:

However, the engraving looks difference. The handle is made if a fine grain wood of maybe oat or some red grain wood.

On one side of the knife it says" Classic Blades Model #1-7" and it has picture of a Ace and a face card behind the ace with a boot knive stabbed into them both. The other side says, "Made in the U.S.A EFFINGHAM, IL" with the bottem of the blade saying "Carbon Steel".

The blade is used and can be buffed up, and is still very sharp. The sheeth is very simple and not like the other randall with the sharpening tool.

Any clue what this is? Maybe just a Randall Moc-up? If so how much do you say it's worth? I have seen model 1-7 randalls like this sell for $300-$400 used.

They are obviously different... Look at the knife towards the grip

Im not a knife expert, nor do i know anything about knives, but that to me looks like a mock-up

It is an Ek knife. They were bought out by a company that was called The Blackjack Knife Company. I think that is a Blackjack knife

Umm, so maybe it's a mock up. I wonder if it's still worth any thing. Maybe I'll put it on ebay and put the reserve High(like $200) and see what offers I get.

Yea, hold on. The value will only increase with time. The only reason why i knew this is because my grandfather was telling me about Ek knives and how sought after they were around world war 2. He has a few of them.

Yah, it's a bummer it's in the shape it is in. If those marks were not covering the engraving I'd buff them right out of there, but I don't want to damage to much of the engraving.
