My music PC has this virus.
I don't really care that much because I don't use this PC for much of anything other than playing Mp3s, but its annoying.
Norton repaired or quarantined like 500 infected files, but it can't get rid of the source of the problem, svchost.exe.
Is that file a fake created by Jeefo, seperate from the svchost windows uses?
I tried booting in safe mode and deleting the file, but that didn't work. It somehow recreated itself.
I need to know how I can kill this infection without having to reformat the PC, if possible.
If anyone out there knows, please let me know. The sites I've seen so far don't seem to say how to kill the virus entirely.
