    Got a new car.(updated after the breakin of the old)

    So. After the Eclipse fiasco we figured we REALLY need to look into a reliable, alarmed, and something we could grow into. Obviously we had budget constraints, but a friend came in and stepped up and REALLY helped us out and worked with us.

    We picked up a 2002 PT Cruiser Limited Edition
    - Leather Interior
    - "Inferno" red
    - B+G Suspension
    - Sunroof/Moonroof
    - Standard CD/Tape setup, etc.

    The most important part... its alarmed.

    Nothing super special. But I actually dig it. I really was a "god I hate that car" person but after we test drove it, it was pretty nice. I'm still a lil shakey on the body style, but its got the features of a minivan (which hey... I'm growing up. Family hopefully soon. Gotta prepare) so lots of interior room for groceries, etc, but its still a car style setup. I'm actually liking it.

    Its a wakeup call for the Nintendo generation

          ive grown to dislike them (basically cause someone i dont like has one), but hey, i cant judge because i have bad taste. nice car

              Like I said... I wasn't a fan either.

              I'm a fly by your pants car w/ some kick person. The gf and I talked and we figured we really have to think about a future vehicle that we'll grow into. We got a great deal on it so we went to check it out and I dig it after driving it. Its very comfortable to drive, and its pretty nice inside. I'm still lovin' my Cougar cause it has some balls, but this is a great family/2nd car.

                  Its got the 3.8 right? If so which i believe it does, you have a bullet proof engine. It has plenty of HP and TQ while still maintaining good gas milage. They ride pretty nice and have plenty of room. Good car and hope you enjoy it. Nice ride.

                      Is it just me, or don't those kind of look like those cars that carry coffins? I forget what they are called.

                      But yeah, not my cup of coffee. (Because coffee is better then tea.)

                                      Not trying to be rude, but I wasn't asking if you approved of my vehicle. Because I couldn't care less.

                                      I was simply putting an update for those who were familiar with all my car troubles in the past year that we did end up getting something worked out after the most recent one last week (which the Eclipse is still DOA in the parking lot.).

                                          Nice find man. I too was kind of against them but like you said after you've driven one the opinion changes. My mom was looking into getting one so I got to test drive one and was actually suprised at how much power and room those things have. May I ask how much you picked it up for?

                                              I am a huge fan of the 50's Panel Vans. When they came out with the PT I was really hoping they would build one on a Dakota frame. They have yet to do it, but I can still hope. The PT Cruiser is an interesting car. It looks like an old panel van, but it's small. I like em, just wish they would get bigger
