    Phsycobilly

Anybody else fallen inlove with this music?

I just recently started listening to this music and I love it. It is a mix between rockabilly, punk, and 50's music.

I only know of three or so bands right now in this genre. Help me out.

    Personally I can't stand it.

But alternative press just did an article on it in their last issue. You might want to pick it up.

Not really psychobilly, but check out the Amazing Royal Crowns (I think they're actually just the Amazing Crowns now). Or better yet, anything by Social Distortion.

COME ON!!!! A psychobilly thread and NO comments about Rev. Horton Heat?! Cramps!? or even Nekromantix?! Oh well.

Anyway, psychobilly is good times indeed. When ever i want to get happy and pumped up i just throw in Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em and rock out. I wanted to see the Rev. a month or two ago, but it was 21+ . I got so sad, I would kill to see the Rev. The cramps came too, but guess what? It was 21+!!!!! AHHH!!!! Oh well, ill be 21 in a few...

PS-its "rockabilly" not "rockabillity" just so you know, or maybe it was a typo...oh well, its all good.

AND...like Zygote said, check out Social D, but check some older stuff out, like Mommys Little Monster. Their new stuff isnt psychobilly, more poppish rock/pop-punk kinda stuff, still okay though.

Check out Reverend Horton Heat and the Cramps. Now!

Johnny Cash sang about a psychobilly Caddilac.
