genetics can be a factor, but using logic we can get to the bottom of this.

there were no fat people in auschwitz. go figure.

Its eating and eating a poor diet. I have friends that are larger than life, and some of them give me the genetic excuse, but they eat snacks all day long, and junk food for dinner.

How far before 1000lbs would you say "hang on a minute, I should really not go to McDonalds again"??

                      agreed

i was going to do my thesis on obesity, but i was afraid my opinions would offend too many people in my class. i wanted to define characteristics common among people that are moderately overweight.

                      the four ingrediants to obesity:

                      1. overeating -ingesting more calories per day than your body needs
                      2. poor diet -consuming too much fat or eating too much in one sitting (gorging), then going too long before your next meal (over 8 hours) without food. this leads to your body kicking into 'starvation mode' which causes it to store fat.
                      3. sedentary lifestyle
                      4. genetics -some body builds are designed to be larger. however, they are not designed to store rolls upon rolls of fat. your body type does NOT lead to severe obesity
                      sixty-six.

yes definately, like if you worked in an office, and sat on a chair all day, its likely that you will NOT need any cakes, chocolate, chips (crisps to us), nuts or soda's to "keep you going". Three balanced moderate meals a day will be sufficient for most people.

Its 100% the mans fault, you dont just wake up one day at 900 pounds and go 'woh what happened!'

If he wanted to cure this, he could have done it MUCH sooner. Genetics might play a small role in it, but not enough to make him this big at all. The man is just a lazy slob.

I have no sympathy for people like this.
