My friend had a line lock in his 65 mustang. That car was the fastest loudest thing I have ever heard. He only had a 5.8 in it and it was easily 5 times louder than anything I have ever heard. He would just sit there with the tires smokin until they said go and he would let go of that button and the car would fly.
