Mystery Forums...

How many times have you clicked on a thread that was closed or moved because of some strange reason to see what happened in it or whatever, and found that you do not have access? I assume that it was moved to a Mystery Forum that only people with admin privilages have. So...
AO, how many times have we been decieved? How many posts are made in Mystery Forums that go unknown? I for one object to this horrible travesty of post justice.

Their are forums we cannot see for certain teams, and atleast one forum "The Illuminate" that is the mod forum. And I cannot spell

And I have always wondered, how did the mods come about being a mod? How do they pick mods? I don't mind the small number thing, its way better than the PBN mods. I bet AO's mystery forums are cooler than PBN's mystery forums

Well first of off you have to be able to spell Kotsiopoulos... then know that its greek. Then there are the ceremonial hazings and humiliations... including the growing of long hair... then... well.. the rest is secret.

No really Tom choses them. For the most part. We might nominate someone when he asks for input. And we might have a conference call to debate those. But ultimately he decides if he wants more or a particular one and ultimately he makes the final choice.

There not all that amusing. The Graveyard, where all the moved posts go to for future reference. The Illuminati, where we discuss things like actions and get council from each other on what to do with particular problems. Then there are specific Team Forums that most of us Mods don't even go into. They run them themselves pretty much. Thats about all there is that you don't see.

Team Forums?

How would a team go about getting a forum?

Nope. And suprise is that most new announcements by AGD come in talk and more often than not we don't know anything about them till Tom says it there. We are often caught unaware of AGD things. But then again... why would we really need to know those. We run a forum. Not a business. Tom runs that.

It just bothers me that there are hidden forums out there I can't see. I dont know how its different from one mod emailing another, but still I just have an urge to see it
