Mouse and keyboard is the way

You know that you CAN use a mouse and keyboard on xbox or ps2? You just need a 20 something dollar adapter. I'm going to get one fairly soon just to try it out with a nice optical mouse and keyboard. I'm finally going to be able to play rainbow six 3 on XBOX like a pro. I suck so hard at that game because my TV is small and it's hard for me to aim on it with a controller.

AND you can also hook the xbox up to a computer monitor. My friend does that quite often to take advantage of the better resolution.

what is so bad!?

i dont see what you guys are complaining about console FPS sucking. if you ask me i enjoy playing FPS on my consoles especially Halo on my X-box. (16 player death matches can be loads of fun on tha beast) if you ask me FPS are better on consoles becuase you do not need a really good computer to run them. (sadly my comp wont run doom3 which makes me very upset) yeah the controls are goofy sometimes but once you get usesd to using them then you should be fine, and yeah i know it is so much easier to use a mouse and board. i like counter-strike, DoD, AAO: Americas Army Operation(you can download that at AmericasArmy.com, need kind of a lot from comp to run well) battlefield, and Halo on X-box(hopefully halo 2 will be as bad *** as they hype it to be) on the PS2 i liked playing Time Splitters (yes that is the name of the FPS) i hope you guys can eventually either convert to consoles or atleast have either one or more of the consoles along with your computer. Have fun gaming.

As for the keyboard/mouse thing... kind of defeats the purpose of keeping the Xbox seperate from a computer. Getting used to using the two joysticks at once is a very rewarding experience and requires a build up of dexterity. Best thing about Xbox is Halo system link doesn't lag like Halo PC LAN.

CS and Source and I used to own all on Ghost Recon when it first came out on XBOX Live was great with that game.

i guess they just came out with a new expansion pack for cod. i want to buy it now

The United Offensive expansion is very good, both SP and MP. The addition of driveable tanks in MP add a new dimension.

Operation Flashpoint is still my favorite FPS. The Finnish Defense Force mod helps bring it more up to date.

Ghost Recon, how can i forget, and the many mods for it. Frostbite and War of Infamy are sick mods for GR, cant wait till 2 comes out. and up the thread
