Whenever playing music, whether it be audio CDs, mp3s (no matter which program iTunes, kazaa, WMP, whatever), every minute or two the music will like slow down and crackle and randomly crackle every 10 seconds or so after that. Sometimes it will just crackle twice 8 seconds into the song then nothing. I burned some mp3s to a CD and played it on a stereo, so I know the files are fine. It does this on headphones and the speakers. i have an external USB sound card that seems to be working fine. On an un(?) related note, my computer while randomly freeze for a few seconds, even if not doing somethign memory intensive (even thouhg its got 512M) mouse wont move, screen wont move, but all clicking and directional arrows I do while its frozen will work. Sometimes its frozen dof only a couple seconds, sometimes it will be like 10 min before i restart. Sometimes it will freeze;unfreeze and back and forth every other second until I will restart it. Both of these things happen pretty much randomly so I don't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated it. BTW i had the freezing problem before but it randomly went awayfor a couple months, now its back.
