my faviort thing to do it to see how high i can throw it. Also i think it makes a fun attration in science to ask the teacher to do an Ahem experemint and try to break it by throwing it off the roof.

6 MONTHS? I've had the same two bottles going on 8 years now... the stuff just will not break, they're good for anything and everything. :)

Just use gatorade bottles. You can throw them out of the third story and so long as it doesn't land on the cap it won't break.

I got one when I was 5 on my first backpacking trip......14 years ago. I think they had a different name then, but nevertheless, I've had the same one for years. I have a couple other ones too. They are fantastic.

That one sucks to drink out of. I like the ones with a smaller mouth.

But both the bottles I stole had to be the big one, so I deal with it.

Ahhl.. the memories of mixing pepsi and vodka in my naglenebottle and drinking at work...

I've seen it broken with little effort. Me and some kid were in the gym right before school was ended, and he lugged it at the concrete wall. SMASH. The funny thing is, he was just pissed about something, he didn't mean to try to break it.

I've broken three nalgenes so far. Every spring I buy a new one and I do everything I can think of to break it (running it over with a semi truck, dropping it off a 9 story building etc) They usually last most the summer and I always manage to break them by something trivial like dropping it from waist height on accident. Great bottles, I'll continue to buy new ones every spring.

We dropped one around 3000 feet off of Mt. Phillips, found it 2 days later, looked almost brand new. These bottles rule. The only thing that I don't like about them, are the tops. The plastics loop always breaks after 3 months of use.

One of my friends, she took hers and bounced it from 5 ft like a bouncy ball. It bounced around 12 ft and crashed into the paneled cieling with the janitor suddenly appearing out of nowhere missing it barely but he heard the noise

I love it here on campus, everyone has nalgenes because they became trendy (there are even designer knockoffs), and all of their bottles are all perfect, without hardly any scuffs.

Then I look at mine which have been canoeing, backpacking, etc. and I can't even see through them because they are scratched so badly.

P.S. the widemouth's own because its hard to pour into the small mouth ones, plus the small mouth ones look funny.

Maybe someone can PM me why my sig was tampered
with when my image is below 20 kb and was 350x159.(20435 bytes/1024 bytes per kb = 19.96 kb.)
