Yeah ok, listen, there is no such thing as a post whore. What is this place? It's an online message board for people to post. It's not like we are posting in any other forum, we're in friendly for crying out loud. I've been here for a long time, as long as anyone and AO has changed A LOT in the past year. What is there to talk about anymore? Nothing. New products? Yeah right. So AO is lucky to keep any of the regulars around anymore. Keeping the place ALIVE is what the name of the game is. Keeping it INTERESTING and FUN. Thats the purpose of friendly corner isent it?

bravo. im not an old poster, but i must say, the OT in here makes me laugh quite often. cphilip, if your worried about using up bandwith with so called spam, why not just ask people to donate to the website.

There are several good conversations going on. All of them you have yet to contribute on. All you do is post silly threads showing off Smillies. Sorry but this is not the place for that after a point. I ignored it for several weeks. And after a while I just got tired of it.

its not allowed to flood the boards with a few of you doing mindless nonsense. Get another hobby. Find something that interests you and discuss it. But lets be adults and lets make it interesting. Saying nothing is going on here is a cop out. Means your part of the problem if you think that way. I am not accepting that as you reason for what your doing. It doesn't wash at all.

No. I am worried about good debates and topics being pushed down off the map by like four people posting mindless smillies like four or five topics a day.

If they would be reasonable about it and think of the others it would never come to this. But once people forget that they seem to not pay attention to others and over do it. This is the case. this is my point now.

This is why I am doing this. To call attention to the over the top actions I have been seeing for weeks. But because its rather mundane I have not banned anyone and don't plan on doing so. Just trying to make a point is all. Think of others.

Its not the "goof balls I am a mindless boob forum". Its the Friendly Corner. There is room for all. So respect that!

Wow phil, I have to say you totally miss the point of a "Friendly Corner." Seems you are happy with this fascist view you have of the boards and have no time in the day for a little lighthearted humor. I'm not trying to "FLOOD" anything, just liven the place up. I see of course assumptions are always made about levels of maturity versus how a person posts. If levels of "contribution" are the issue at hand then lets see...we should create a rating scale and have it attached to every post, like reviews on Amazon.com where people can rate posts on how it raised thier "intellect."

I could also care less whether you "accept" anything I say what I mean and mean what I say. So by your logic I am part of the problem of there being nothing going on? So if I STOP posting then that means this place will liven up? Oh ok, I guess I was wrong for trying to inject some fun times here.

Maybe you don't realize I have to represent everyone. Wether I like them or not and wether I agree with all of them or not. Just doing my job son. Get over it.

If you wish to get all bent out of shape from me trying to bring you in to some middle ground. Thats unfortunate. But its your choice. Love ya Mango but... you got to comply and work with me here. I am asking you as a friend to tone it down. Keep it light and moderate.

Mango... to be completely honest with you... I do not recognise you at all the last month of two. Your not posting like yourself at all. And I am concerned. So I am going to bring this to a head. Because I am trying to find out what is going on. Your posting lately is like someone has taken over your account or your mind. Its not the Mango that I know thats been posting.
