I sent an email to corporate at Activision about my concerns with the "cheat meter" in this new Xbox game. I was concered because before I heard about that component (which got me all riled up about cheating in paintball), I was going to use that game to actually justify my acquiring of an Xbox (finally). Here is the response from the company that wrote the game - i am probably going to be getting an xbox now.

The fact that this cheat meter is more like the life meter on CS is the way i understand it...2 hits = insta death, 2 hits over a period of a game = death...1 hit can equal a lot of things and thats true in real life
i would say those percentages may be a little exagerated but thats ok...

I never really had anything against the cheat meter, but now theres no reason you should have anything against it IMO.

I believe that before NFL Blitz was out, there were may other precedents of football games that portrayed the game the way it should be. not with a fantasy environment where you can cheat, or "tackle someone after the play is over." This is to my knowledge, the first paintball game on a major console. Though it would be nice to have had a few others before issues like this came up, its really a moot point now. I dont own an xbox, nor will this game alone tempt me to purchase one. I can agree with rambopreacher on the "cheat meter" that may give the wrong idea to those playing the game. Sure, other sports cheat too, but, you dont see it built into the games that come out for your favorite console. until now.

I had the chance to watch my friend play the game today. The cheat meter is a very nice adition, tho i dont like the 3 for 1 penalty. The 1 for 1 is understandable tho.

that game seems reall cool, whitch makes me mad that i have ps2, not xbox any one know if they will release it on ps2?

LOL!! Thanks lord but I wasn't involved with the game development. And Activision execs are all Nazi's!!!!
