Just played the first 15 minutes...

Visuals: Friggen awesome even on the "Moderate to Low" settings... It runs alright with a little slowdown on my computer... haven't gotten into many big firefights yet because I have alot of homework yet to do... Those of you with high end systems are going to LOVE this game.

Storyline, they sort of drop you in the middle of it, but you mostly know whats going on... they pretty much assume that you've at least beat Half Life in the last 6 years...

My system specs:

AMD Athlon XP 1700+
512mb Ram
ATI 9600XT

Like I said, it runs alright, but it does hiccup. I'm pretty sure if I lower the resolution it'll be flawless.

I only took one screenshot, and it was sorta dark, but you get the point.

ok, i just got the game yesterday, how come no one here has reported a stutter issue with the game. i found that out after i installed and played the game. ive been to the steam site and there working i guess to fix this problem.

doesnt anybody have that stutter issue with HL2? ive updated every driver and patch i could and still stutters, even the lowest setting. i got the new patch for it, still stutters. this is lame y hasnt anyone complained about this issue here. WHY!!!!!

updated all the drivers i had, still has problems, bummed about this.

It was strange... when it first came out, I had REALLY BAD stuttering issues in CS: Source, and even then only on the maps Dust and Aztec... None during the actual game, just in CS: S...

I haven't had the problem in a few weeks, so I'm assuming the latest patch fixed it...
