XBox System Link Cabling Question

Does xbox use CAT5 twisted pair or CAT5 straight cabling. I need to know quick because im having some people over and i need to slap together a cable. Thanks guys

I believe if you're going to link up directly, it's straight. Otherwise, if you're going through a hub, twisted.

Im connecting directly between two xboxs but i wasnt sure. Anyway, does anyone know the order for the wiring for straight? I know the crossover order but im not sure about straight. Its just using both standard instead of one standard and one crossover right?

You use crossover to connect 2 xboxes, and the regular to connect to a hub

Trust me, I've hooked up 2 xboxes and you need a crossover cable.

Its the same with computers. If you're hooking up 2, you need a crossover. To a hub or router, you need the straight ones.

I trust ya man. I just wasnt sure what i needed to do. I was pretty sure it was crossover but for a bit there i thought i needed to use a straight so i figured id just ask AO. Thanks for the help.
