AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Well. I just did it with some shaving cream and a mach 3. Muchhhhh better than my electric. Is shaving Gel better than the cream? I'll try it in the shower too i just gotta get a mirror.
I use a mach 3 and edge gel. I wash my face with warm water then use cold while shaving. It works real good for me, but you need to find something that works for you.
I use an electric. I just use the beard trimmer part. My face feels like sandpaper all the time. I have really sensitive skin; if I use my electric the way it's ment to be used I get wicked razor burn. I'm to lazy to actually shave. I just do that for interviews. I'll use a mach 3 turbo with a shaving gel, not the foam. If I don't shave with the grain, then I get razor burn. I don't get a real close shave, but it doesn't hurt. I've gotten so used to having a sandpaper face. If I actually shave, then I feel really wierd. Luckily, all the girls i've dated like the non-baby face.
Random tips:
Shave up for a closer shave.
Get a Mach 3
Use Mach 3 (regular) blades for a closer shave, use Mach 3 Turbo for a more comfortable shave.
Don't let the blade slip sideways (cuts will ensue)
A good aftershave (Old Spice, Gilette) will help reduce razor burn
I use Edge shaving gel and a Mach 3 (non turbo blades), and shave before showering (usually). I've tried to shave with an electric razor, but it gives me really bad razor burn.
best bet is a razor like a mach 3 and a shaving gel with aloe. Always follow the grain never shave against it and you shouldnt have any issues with razor burn.
When true evil smacks you in the face you never forget it.
Neutrogena makes a great pre-shave face wash that is downright awesome, I havn't gotten razor burn since I started using it about a year ago.
just lather it up good, rinse (or don't), add decent shaving gell, shave... I use a Mach 3, make sure to change the blade every few weeks, otherwise it makes for an uncomfy shave.
