I have been selling cell phone for near 7 years. My company sells/sold Verizon, Sprint, Cingular, AT&T, Alltel and Cricket.
From my experience LG (Korean made) is a crap shoot. It will either be an amazingly awesome or amazingly crappy phone. I think their outsourcing and chip sets changes.
I would go with a Motorola. Very few lemons have been released under their name. The only problem with Motorola is their software is not as logic driven as LG's. Moto's usually take longer to learn, after that your set.

I have an LG VX7700B going on a year now. I got a new battery under warranty about a year ago, but other than that I haven't had a problem.Comment
