First wide production car is prolly the NSU. No idea on the model NSU however. 1960's era. I think they somehow got folded into Audi, and Madza bought the engine designs.Shaun Nelson --- old, fat, slow.... did I mention lazy? I ate all the pies

hmm
my grandfather was in the air force and worked on one the of the first wankel (rotary engines) he said people thought they where gonna be the wave of the future. people thought that they where gonna put em in lawnmowers and and all those little small engine contraptions because of there power out-put and there small size. they also figured they would put em in cars becuase in order to get more power, just stack em next to one another. so mazda bought the patent to the rotory engine and now they use em on one of there production car.....Comment
