help with alternators

Just to prove YOU wrong, the alternator has been in the car for a week now and is driven 100 miles roundtrip cause it's my beater.

That proves nothing, get back to me after 60,000 miles.
I said Haynes manual because that is their favorite statement, "Instalation is the reverse of removal".

And time for, Losing the bolts, losing the sockets, general screaming and yelling at the car, screaming and yelling at the tools when you hurt yourself.
Don't forget argueing with your four buddies that are supervising the work. Cause they gotta make sure you know what you are doing wrong.

Every car is different so factor in some time. We put one in on my buddy car and it took about an hour. Then again it was at midnight with one of the worst flashlights ever.
