3 guys from out of town are working on a construction crew. They go to a hotel to get a room. The desk clerk says the cheapest room she has is $30.00.
They each give her a $10.00 bill, get the key to the room and go.
About 10 minutes later the desk clerk calls the bell hop and says she charged the guys too much. The room was actually $25.00... So she gives the guy 5 $1.00 bills and tells him to go give the guys their money back.
He's walking to the room and can't figure out how to give 3 guys $5.00 and split it evenly so he takes 2 bucks and shoves them in his pocket. He knocks on the door and tells them that they were charged too much money for the room and gives each a dollar bill.
Sooo... Each guy gave the desk clerk $10.00... Just now they get a buck back each and that makes $9.00 they each paid for the room... (10 - 1 = 9) right???
9 X 3 = 27..... plus the 2 bucks in the bell hops pocket only makes 29...
