I saw go with the BMW. They extremely nice and drive smooth. I love bmws in general. I know infiniti has amazing customer support because i have a nissan maxima, and infiniti and maxima are one in the same. I recommend the bmw because it will not only look good it performs well. Have you looked at the chevy avalanche? My buddy has one and he loves it. Its a little cheaper than a BMW but is great for paintball and handles well in the snow from what he has told me.

        Infinity all the way.

My Uncle is a car whore, and has converted to owning Infinity only after purshasing his first one. I've seen him go through a couple Infinitys, and I loved everyone of them. I can't say anything about actually owning one, but they are great cars.

My mother has a BMW and I honestely hate it. It's just a Beamer.. but I really hate it. I can't say anything about the X5.. but the interior of the car sucks. The sun visors are peices of crap that rarely will block the sun. And they are just as flimsy as the crappy cupholders which are conviently placed in front of all your controls like AC, radio, etc. So.. if you have a drink, you can't use the controls. All the small things about BMW suck as far as I can tell.

I would be looking at a VW Toureg w/ the V-10 Diesel. You want torque for getting through nasty weather and for throwing your date's stomach up to her throat when you take off from a light during a night out. That diesel has more torque than any SUV out there by a longshot. Plus, diesel is more efficient, more reliable, sounds better and smells better than gas.

So, I was looking for a beater car, and I can't decide between the Aston Martin DB9 and the Ferrari F430. Can AO help me out?

The Aston is better now that they don't use Ford switch gear so much. But since I left England I dropped off the waiting list.

Running cost of the Ferrari and the difficulty in servicing/changing clutch etc. Puts me off. Also dog hairs are a paint to get out of the carpet.

I'd go for the McLaren F1. You can fit the wife and the mistress in the back next to each other, and if you drive fast enough you won't hear either of them.

Oh and the only bit that isn't true... is the dog. I don't have one. Nor a wife for that matter.
