How do you treat broken ribs??

So I was just wondering how broken ribs are treated. I mean, after the reset the bone, what do they do?? Can you cast your torso?

You can get your torso taped/wrapped up.

Generally its just painful and you try not to do anything that involves a lot of motion (twisting your torso) for a while.

Not sure how long they take to heal though.

I treat my broken ribs with a sense of unwelcome guest-ness. Afterall, they have failed their master and do not deserve my respect

They can wrap em but thats about it.
There isn't alot that can be done with those particular bones. I took a punch to the ribs last year and cracked a couple so I am sure breaking them is very unpleasant.
Try to take deep breaths and cough as best you can you don't want infections building up leading to pneumonia.

There is not much you can do. Just chill for a week or so and it should feel a tiny bit better. Some kind of pain killers help and ice ice ice. I felt soo much better when i iced my rib after i cracked it.
