Pat yourself on the back because you live in the city with the worst crime in the nation. Better yet go to Home Depot and buy another lock for your door.

Camden needs to be nuked.
A few years back (98 or so I believe) they had over 100 open-air drug markets in the city. The city government and police force was so corrupt the state had to take over administration of the city.
Apparently it hasn't gotten any better.
We just need to remove that city from the face of the earth and we'd all be better off.

ha! a lock. that won't protect you in camden. in fact if you can afford to secure your home in camden you have enough money that you shouldn't be living there.Originally posted by taylor492Pat yourself on the back because you live in the city with the worst crime in the nation. hmmmm I dunno theres some streets in LA where they cant even lock their doors. The best they can do is zip up the tent flap and sleep next to a pitbull.

And their numbers come from where? :)Originally posted by taylor492Actually its from Morgan Quitno Corp. They publish City Crime Rankings, an annual reference book.
The DoJ publishes crime statistics every year. Morgan Quitno or anyone else can take those numbers turn them into pretty graphs and repackage them all they want.

The only place I would feel safe in that place is on the USS New Jersey. 17 inches of steel between me and them sounds good.Hey, look at that! It's Santa!

I live like 10-15 minutes from Camden. There are some good parts of the city......the waterfront. You have the Tweeter Center, Camden Riversharks Stadium, and some luzury apartments in an old RCA factory.....but thats about it. O yea, Rutgers University Camden is there. The waterfront and Cambell's Soup are the only things keeping that city partially alive.Dub V
