                canadians know just as much if not more about american politics than actual US citizens, only because the vast majority of what we see, whether it be tv, internet, whatever, all comes from america. and when it is a canadian broadcast, more often than not, american politics are discussed because, lets face it, america is the biggest influence on the world right now. so we actually are very knowledgable with regards to american current events/history.
