who watches the news?? But try building antique war mechanisms like i do i've built catapults, tribuchies, and am working on a pumpkin chuckin cannon(its not antique style but still) cops made me take down my tribuchie cause i hit a few houses around a mile away. it was still funn none the less.

Its Trebuchet'... and there is no way any trebuchet will hit a house a mile away from you -60-90 yards, yes; a mile - no. The Ballista was the largest of the midiaeval siege engines and it could ontly throw a 60 pound payload like 400 yards -- thats was the 'big gun' of the ancient worlds. So I highly doubt your 1 mile claim. However, I do agree that midiaeval weaponry is fun to build!

awesome!! i built a working scale model of a roman catapult last year!! the thing was pretty tiny, though... but im planning on building a larger one during vacation (or maybe summer). and yeah, a mile seems a bit far .

the gear is cheap,
there is a style to suit everyone: downhill, longboard, street, parks/pools, vert, slalom
it is a real extreme sport, not a fake one like paintball where all you stand to suffer is some extreme craptalk from ecool teenagers on the web. and the price difference between the best and worst gear is a couple hundred bucks, not thousands. and once you have your gear you can do it for free anywhere, anytime, with others, alone whatever.

longboarding is awesome.

not much to it though.. was fun when i got it, now it just gets me to and from class.. it doesnt take up enough of my time to quit paintball..

oh this is sad, i am lookin for something to do so i quit paintball.
