AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.

from the age of 14 to 26 my "life" was skateboarding, but as I got older (Im 32 now) skating become harder and harder. Falling on concrete from the top of 12 steps used to piss me off, now it ends my day of skating. I dont heal as fast as I used to LOL. My "life" now consists of working full time, fixing up my condo so my fiance and I can buy a house, shopping for houses, talking to real estate agents, going to lowes and home depot blah blah blah! I quess Im an adult now......yeah!

When I was growing up, I rode my BMX bike almost every day. It wasn't until I was around 14 did I start to do flatland freestyle tricks on my bike. I pretty much rode religiously until around 23 before becoming the victim of college and real life.
I am now 33. I have rediscovered my love of riding and have been doing so for the last 7 months. Although I don't ride as many hours as I used to, I do ride even harder today. But like you, it's not without its pains. My body does take longer to heal but it's only recently am I finding myself having less pains or not as severe. I think it's all in conditioning the body again to be able to go through the falls, aches, cuts and bruises.
If your love for skateboarding is still there, I say don't let your old age mentality stop you. Get back on that board, ride, and get back into shape. It will be hard and painful, but once you go over that hurdle, you'll find yourself enjoying it more now than you did back then!
But if I were to list my interests right now:
1. BMX Flatland
2. Playing video games
3. Collecting/watching DVDs
4. Paintball(sad to say is low on my list cause paintball ruled my life the past two years)
Spleef -- what do you spin? I've been DJing for 4-5 years now.
My life? I work during the week 8-5 but in my spare time I play Ice hockey 2 nights a week, DJ electronic music @ clubs/raves, go out to bars, party with friends, Play softball during the spring. Aside from that, not much else.
Well I work almost full-time at a Golf Course and play a couple times a week (72 at Western Skies Golf Club yesterday w00t!) so i guess golf is my life outside of paintball. Even though i sold all my gear over a year ago and havent played since. If i had the money and time i would definitely be back in the game, but its just not the case. I dink around with DOD usually, and i do have to say im gettin pretty good at it. I got accused of hacking the other day, which if u knew me youd absolutely laugh at that statement. I have two nieces who i absolutely love and would spend all day everyday with them but that would peeve my brother-in-law. I guess thats about it. Yeah Yeah i know
My life is completely dominated by school. I have one semester left after this one. I'm getting 2 degrees, so every class matters. In my small amount of spare time I like to play beruit, but mostly beer pong (with the paddles!! you don't throw the ball in beer pong!). After playing a few games I like to make a lot of noise on my guitar.
We all need a strong mind, body and spirit. The gym for me is many things. A place for me to push myself to the limit and constantly challenege myself mentally and physically. When I'm there I am a different person.
Also, school is the dominating factor otherwise, I graduate in May. Partying on the weekends is also fun. I spend free time chatting online, reading anatomy & physiology books and just learning as much as I can about nutrition and the human body as well as other things. I enjoy learning about anything really. We should never stop trying to attain knowledge.
