She was my uncles dog, I spent ALOT of time with her though, I spent a couple of summers helping my uncle out when he had broken bones.

she was like my dog. She had some really bad hip problems so my uncle had to put her to sleep

i know how you feel, had my dog die in my arms 4 years ago. same thing he had some hip problems, then one day just stopped eating and died that day.

Bless your doggie Man. I am all ripped up right now too. The love of my life, my 16 year old Miss Kitty was diagnosed on wednesday with Chronic Kidney failure. She is hanging on and we are treating her agressively with Sub Q fluids and a couple of other meds. Its been a long couple of days over here. Please say a kind word for here if you can find room in your shattered heart.

Me too, I had to put down my 19 year old cat, that I raised from a kitten, back in Feb. She had kidney failure too, and did not take the Sub Q treatment well. I also had to put her son down last year, after a four month bout with cancer.

Good luck tuna, get the good times in while you can.
