Hookah/Nargile

I remember seeing an Official Cigar Thread a while back so I thought maybe some of you smoke hookah. Was I right? What flavors do you prefer? Own your own pipe? Etc....

My brother just gave me his old pipe from college, it's pretty cool but one of the hoses broke. I can post some pics too if anyone's interested.

I prefer Apple Apple....with redbull in the base instead of water. It gives it a kick.

I do not own my own Hookah, but I may buy one down the road.

Redbull, eh? I"ll have to try that. We used pineapple juice with a coconut batch once that was pretty good. A friend of my brother is from Turkey and he makes a special kind of "Nargile Smoothy" to put in base, it makes the smoke a lot thicker - very good.

Yeah, usually if we want thick smoke, we just add a couple tablespoons of whole milk to the water in the base.

Try adding some Vanilla Extract to the base if you are using fruity shishas. mmmmmmm, Oranges n' Cream

Now does this only work with specialy blended hookah herbs, cuz this is sounding intresting

Well, they aren't herbs, it's just "flavored" tobacco.

And if you are gonna ask, yes it will work with marijuana. However, anyone who decides to soil a pretty Hookah(or an ugly one) with pot shouldn't even be allowed to touch one.

But what if its a home made one?.... Made of glass, and has a pretty tube made from Squids macroline...? With a custom milled metal piece of top...? with a metal shaft

Well, I guess. I mean it's a pretty simple. There's a bowl on top where the Shisha goes. Then a tube from the bowl down into the base in the water or whatever other fluid. Then another tub just out of the water to suck thru.


Maybe I'll try and make an AO-Hookah.

As kids we always thought it was funny that a friend of mines parents had this strange 5 foot tall vase with holes in it......

He had lived in the Middle East for years and had brought home a very decorated brass and wood hooka. The tray (wasn't a bowl)that it used for the "fill" was very large. Definately too big to be putting weed in.

haha, yeah, the guy I smoke with has a bowl that will fit about 200 grams of shisha. The only time we ever filled it, it took 5 people close to 4 hours to finish.

There's a hookah bar in chicago that my brother and his friend (Anil) have been to. 6' hookahs with 4 hoses that holds 500 grams. I'm dying to go.

They are fun. I went to one somewhere in Nashville and it was awesome. Best Shisha I've ever had
