Help picking photos to put in a calendar

I am going to be making a 2005 Calendar from photos I took. Please look at the link below.

Please choose the 12 photos you think should be placed in a calendar. The photos shown here are unedited, so please choose based on the scene it's self, not the technical aspect of the image.

        Hi Jason,

Those photos look great! Let me know when you make the calendar, because I would like one :)

I don't know if you have Indesign, but someone put together an excellent template, which could save you a lot of time putting together the days and such.

          Good luck!

I am actually sending them off to be done. I just give them the photos in the right bleed size and they make the calendar. It's a tad pricey, but I am doing it more for a small Christmas gift for a few people.

              That's pretty cool.

Actually, would you mind mentioning the company? Curious...

Also, I don't know if you ever considered it, but...

Postcard Press does very high quality work. I've worked with them in the past, and can easily recommend them. Perhaps you should consider getting a few made and selling them for around ~$1. Many of your images are rather worthy of such.

The company that I am going to use is Rath printing. I am not sure if they do them as a public product. They are an old client of mine and last year they did their own calendar. When I saw it I asked them about it, so this year they agreed to print me up some at their cost.

I have seen quite a few companies that will print post cards. If I knew there would be a market to sell some of mine, i would do it, but I don't really want to be stuck with 500 post cards

BTW, did you happen to look at your photo thread. You see the small tweaks I did on two of your photos? Whatcha think?

I just pulled that thread back up with some new shots. Very nice. Thank you very much. I'll have to apply that to the main file. On another note, what do you think of the image itself?

nice pics overall.. i see many that would be top notch with a little cropping here and there... but since thats kinda hard to convey all the cropping that i have in mind, i'll leave it all up to you... the only thing that i would avoid is the statue of liberty pics..... they are a bit cliche(sp), and as such i wouldnt wanna hang them... i have always followed the general rule of thumb that when shooting full portrait people (statue or not), shooting from below eye level tends to demonize them... especially when they're sillouetted against a vibrant background....

would you mind telling us your lense length, iso, av, and speed settings for the various types of fotos?... fireworks/day bridges/ night landscapes/statue/niagra falls....

                        cheers, kudos, and thanks...

I added the EXIF data to the gallery. If you look at the photo in the upper right corner there is a "Photo Properties" link. That should give you all the info you want on the photos. If any are missing this data, please let me know, they might have lost it in the resizing of the photo.

Thanks for the suggesations. I do plan on cropping and claning up the photos before sending them off. I just did not want to do all 41 photos when I only need 12. Once I have the 12 picked, then I will go ahead and play with them. All those pics are as they were out of the camera except for the resizing, so most are pretty flat and lack the color depth.

EDIT: There is one edited photo in there, which shouldn't even be there. So I guess I did lie with my above statement:)
