    Movie: National Treasure

Yes, the kiddy-looking one with Nicolas Cage. It actually turned out fairly well. I'm leaving now so I don't have time to type more, but I'd reccomend this for anybody of any age, good for a family movie but not so corny you can't just go with some friends. <img src="http://www.automags.org/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif">

kiddy-looking? What do you mean by that. Looks pretty grown-up to me.

I went and saw it last week. To be honest, I think it was a great movie. I think it was on par with any of the Indian Jones movies (and better than the "temple of doom"). They did a great job of mixing facts, fiction and action together.

Saw it theday it came out. They could have made it so much cheesier, but they didnt. They did an excellent job presenting everything. They didnt make it confusing. All around, it was worth the $10 I spent.

One corny thing was how they got away with it all. They let Cage and the others go, plus they give him a house and offer him 10% of what they found. No charges pressed, or anything. Loved how the guy at the end couldnt even shift his Ferrari at the end.
Hey, look at that! It's Santa!

Is it better than most the movies that came out lately. It seems like every movie i go and see is just horrible.

See, I kind of thought the opposite. I still thought it was a great movie, and while some things surprised me, the whole movie was very predictable, and it seemed to drag on. One clue after another. Maybe it's just because I'm really tired. Oh well, it wasn't as stupid as I thought it would be. I think they should have made the stealing of the declaration a lot more difficult though.
