OMG! my old Beavis and Butthead tapes!!!

i just went threw some boxes filled up with old VHS tapes and i found my taped copy of the first B & B marathon, this is the first season that will never be shown again by MTV. I recorded it on SLP, so the tape is 6 hours long, none stop. i cut the commercials out and i got all the music videos with them.

After watching about all of it ,man, no wonder they cant re-release this stuff. Funny as Hell, Its mostly them by there TV just doing nothing except watching TV. there one episode were Butthead lights a spray paint can and it lights up Beavis on fire during school. Beavis smokes cigerettes and there is an episode were Beavis is wearing a Slayer shirt instead of Metallica.

This brings back alot of memorys, im going to Digitize them ASAP and put them in the net somewere.

Weres the best possible chance to get these uploaded to a site or something?

Liquid Television was cool! even though I never understood that one clip on there where it was the chick going around all batman like with no dialouge. It sounds bad but I miss Beevis and Butthead That rocks that you found that tape.

ill have to watch it again, im going to digitize it and ill see if its on the tape, theres alot of episodes.

ok, i finally got the encouragement to digitize them im making them wmv files and there average size is about 72-78 megs an episode. i did about 1 1/2 hours of tape out of 6 hours and there already commercial free and still have the music videos. There are a bunch of funny episodes that will never be shown again............... until now

now, what do i do so i can "share" these online? make a torrent file how do i do that?

Put the files in your shared folder for the first thing..
Then about the torrent.. I have no clue.
But if you need a server to host on it.. I *Might* be able to do that.. dependinng on how the torrent works and the bandwith. I get like 3 gigs a month.

well, i digitized all the episodes on tape i had here, 15 episodes and there 160-170 Megs an episode, i thought it would be half that and it turn not to be what i was expected. But i captured all of it, uncompressed mpeg and the total of that is like 15 ghz or so of HD space good thing i have a DVDRW burner. i will be making DVDs and im not making no money off it so if you want a copy, supply me some DVD+R and ill make u one. i will be making DVDs eventually with menus and a nice DVD jewel case and printouts
