R.I.P. Mr. Abbott, you will be missed by the millions of metal heads that so dearly loved your musical talent!

I will now more than ever cherish every one of my Pantera albums knowing that a metal God has passed into the afterlife.

All you guys that got to see him and the rest live should feel real fortunate.

I never got the chance to see them and never will now.(I love music alot so allow me a sappy moment)
The first time I ever heard Pantera. Some dude brought in this cassette tape and put it in the radio. It was F-ing Hostile, it just blew me away. These guys were pissed, they made music for those of us that were/are pissed. Not so much deathy demonic cut em up music but people that were pissed off at something and needed to show it. I never really checked out Damage Plan but thru the teeny years Pantera let me get out alot of aggresion by just shouting and screaming along. So maybe we should feel fortunate for what we do have. Years of great music and a sound that won't ever be reproduced. Let our hearts and prayers go to the friends, family, and people that had to witness this tragedy.

Good to know that somone of Tom's status seeks "relief" from a sport he helped create. A sport now ruled by a single patent.
