What are some good online shooters for PC?

I'm looking to get a few new online shooters for my PC. Anyone have any recommendations/experiences? I have Call of Duty and expansion pack but i've played out the multiplayer. I was looking at Battlefield: Vietnam for one of them, is that any good?

Half-Life 2: Deathmatch and Counter-Strike: source are definately worth looking into. I'm addicted to both

Counter Strike: Source, but you have to buy Half Life 2 to get that, but HL2 is very good anyways, so...

Once you have a Steam account (the thing you find servers with, valve have their own one) you can investigate into their back catalogue which is extensive, and all very playable bar one or two.

I play Vietnam competitively, and unless you have a nice system (i.e. 1024 megs of ram, fast processor, 9600 pro and up, plus a good internet connection), this game will run horribly. Great game, lots of idiots out there though. If you're interested in competitive play, awesome game, otherwise, stick with half life 2. Or look at a good massive rpg. COH, or WoW.

Well, here's what my system is:
P4 2.53ghz
512 ram
Radeon 9700

Is that good enough for BF:Vietnam? I've heard HL:2 has some bugs that still need to be worked out, is that true?

CoD is awsome.
i'm not a fan of CS anymore
i havn't played source yet though

we had a BF:V clan and play'd in an igames tournament and got 2nd, we got cheated *shrugs*

it was good times though.

we've moved on to CoD now, we've definatally out played BF:V, I got to be good at flying, i could do flips and barrel rolls with a huey and rock the crap out of tanks and such with the cobra.

Yeah, that's good enough for it. Might want to upgrade your ram, just for faster loading times. My system is almost exactly like yours though.
