I signed up a longass time ago when my friend told me to, and it kinda grows on you. I've found a few people on there that I hadn't talked to in YEARS.

I've had an account since about May. it took my friend about a month to talk me into getting an account due to the fact that I thought it was retarded. Now I'm actually on it quite regularly, it's a good way to keep in touch with people you don't see too often. However, I don't accept adds from people I don't know anymore. It took one ugly/creepy girl stalking me to edit 100+ people from my friend's list.

My friend found a myspace for one of my high school teachers. She had alll these blog entries and all these friends writing about those times she got drunk as a skunk, and got wasted all day. All the students found out and I believe a kid brought it up to her one day in class. She then erased EVERYTHING, all her blog entries her personal info, everything, except her height and her named changed to Tania

Its a good way to keep in touch with people who aren't around a lot, or to find people you havn't seen in a long time.

I mean, you could use AIM constantly, but MySpace has a lot of cool features and you can communicate with a bunch of people at once. It also can let you get to know friends of friends and so forth, which can be kinda cool. Then you can make fun of your friend with a friend of theirs you never really knew before.

Oh, and yeah, the image server can be crappy sometimes. The site used to work flawlessly, but I think membership is growing faster than they upgrade the servers, which leads to some slowdowns.

Its getting immensely popular though, so hopefully they can upgrade it to keep it from screwing up much.

And its funny you should mention hitting on 14 year old girls, MySpace was on the news because some 27 year old tried to meet up with a 16 year old off of myspace and get her into a bar and they did some investigation. My friend sent me the video from the news.
