i got hammered with spam text, thats right spam text. i complained to t-mobile and they agreed not to charge me if i agreed to change my number. i was more than happy because the spam was coming from something other than a phone number so it couldnt be blocked.

at that point in time i did not pay for text msgs in my service plan so all msgs, inbound and outboud, cost me a dime. i dumped tmobile soon after and my new plan has unlimited text so its not a big deal anymore. although, i would prolly still be ticked if i got a bunch of spam.

I think it's rediculous for cell companies to charge for receiving text messages. With a call you choose whether to answer or not and get charged or use up your minutes. With a text message you get no choice in the matter. My cell company only charges to send text messages so I thot thats what everyone else had. Now my friends have been complaining and telling me not to send the text's cause they cost them money. Those cell companies are pathetic.

well i think that text messages are great and most of the time its only a few bucks to get unlimited. im glad i have that now, i spend a good chunk of time sending text these days.

ya i used to have unlimited text mesage, then that expired. It would have been nice if they gave me a call or suttin to let me know that i had to start paying for them individualy, my bill was huge that month its ridiculous that they charge you for received text messages, but they are cheaper than out going text. stupid companys out to take money from everyone

I also refuse to belive it cost them any where close to 10 cents per text. More like .000001 cent. JErks
